How much are services after installation?
For intruder alarms and CCTV systems, our annual services start from £75.00 + VAT (maintained rate after installation). Batteries for wireless devices can also be supplied at additional cost. All systems are different so we can quote a price for ongoing maintenance based on the system that is installed.
What does a service entail?
For Intruder Alarm Systems a full test of the system includes:
A check of the control equipment, anti-tamper circuit, audible signalling, deliberate operated devices (where applicable such as panic buttons), power supplies, closed circuit devices and electronic devices connected to the system, batteries for wireless devices (if applicable).
For CCTV Systems a full test of the system includes:
A check of the number and types of cameras, check of warning labels/signs, check all cables/conduit, check picture quality of each camera, check all glands and seals (external), clean all cameras and housings, check recording device is functioning correctly (where applicable).
What are the benefits?
Peace of mind that your system is working correctly - routine maintenance can often prevent issues before they occur. Your insurance may require annual maintenance; we would advise ask your Insurance Provider of any specific requirement. Our service costs include 12 months access to our out-of-hours Engineers and callouts at a reduced rate if visits are required in between service visits.
