Service and Maintenance
Regular professional maintenance of your security system is just as important as having it installed in the first place. Security systems can become less reliable without regular servicing as faults can end up being ignored, therefore deeming your system futile.
Lynx carries out preventative maintenance to help prevent problems from impacting your system. As the term suggested - this can help identify issues before they become problematic. We recommend having intruder alarms serviced once a year (or once every 6 months if the system includes ARC Monitoring.
Our maintenance costs also include a 12-month access to our out-of-hours engineers and callouts at a reduced rate, further securing your mind and property.
We also offer an excellent quality and value domestic takeover service should you decide you want us to assume your security needs. This means we can service and maintain your property’s alarm system even if they’ve originally been installed by another company. Your safety and security is our number one priority!

2. Can you service a security system that is not installed by Lynx?
We can undertake an initial domestic takeover service to conduct a full check and service of your current alarm. Where possible, this can include a rebrand of the existing external bell box and decoy, as well as 12 months access to our out-of-hours service with a reduced call-out rate.
3. What security system is best for my property?
It would be a lie to tell you one specific system without knowing the layout and the requirements of your property. For this reason, we employ experienced Surveyors who you can meet to discuss the property you wish to protect.
4. Can my security system be expanded later?
Yes, we can expand or upgrade your system in most cases to suit any property alterations. We can do this easily and with little disruption.
