Confused about how our quotation and installation process works? We have included information on how a typical intruder alarm installation happens – from initial enquiry to handover and aftercare…

  1. Enquiry: we receive your enquiry for an alarm system via the website or telephone. If you enquire via the website, a member of our Sales Team will contact you to discuss the type of system you require. A free no-obligation Surveyor visit is then scheduled at a time that suits you. This enables them to run you through the options so that a quotation can be created. Remember, each house is different, and the type of system required varies depending on the layout and needs of the occupier.
  1. Surveyor Visit: Our Surveyor can discuss with you in more detail about the type of intruder alarm system that will be best in your home – you may wish to have detection devices on the entrances of your home (doors or windows) or incorporate devices in specific rooms.
  1. Processing: The information from the visit is passed to the Sales Team for processing into a quotation. This documents information about your potential new intruder alarm, including device locations, how the system works, pricing and ongoing maintenance.
  1. Approval: Once approved and checked by the Surveyor, the quotation is sent to you by email or post. You may have further questions or changes you wish to be made. We are more than happy to help and can revise the quotation if you decide you would like to make changes.
  1. Setting a Date: You now find you wish to proceed with the installation and keep your home secure with an intruder alarm. We will find a day that suits you. A deposit payment will need to be made to secure your chosen installation date.
  1. Installation: Our Installation Engineer will be there to install your new intruder alarm system and explain how the system works. You may wish to add certain settings to fit in with your family and lifestyle. Remember not to forget the pets!
  1. Aftercare: Once the system is in your home, we are here to help with any questions you may have – night or day. Our office is open Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm and our Out-of-hours Engineers are available during evenings and weekends.
  1. Keeping the System Maintained: We recommend that the system be serviced annually to ensure that your home never goes unprotected. The month before the Anniversary of installation we will send you a reminder by email or by post so that a Maintenance Visit can be arranged.
